Naming Conventions for Jedox Objects
A restriction on rule syntax has been added, specifying that rules cannot begin with a space.

Autosave in Jedox

REST Connection
For REST connections with HTTP mode POST, PUT, PATCH or DELETE, the default encoding of a request body is UTF-8. If the web service only accepts requests with the body encoded in ISO-8859-1, you can add ; charset=iso-8859-1 to the Content-Type header, like text/xml; charset=iso-8859-1.

Connecting to an FTP Location

PGP Decryption in File-Based Connections
PGP decryption, supported with 2024.2, enables users to securely decrypt files that have been encrypted with PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) directly within the platform. Connections that support PGP decryption are CSV, ExcelFile, JSON, Parquet, and XML. For details on adding a private key to a Jedox instance, see Keys and Secrets.

Custom Configurations for the In-Memory DB (OLAP)
Two new configuration options, string-storage-rebuild-limit and string-storage-rebuild-schedule, have been released. These options can be used to ensure fast retrieval and processing of large data volumes. Note that any configuration changes to your Jedox Cloud environment must be coordinated with Jedox Support.
