Jedox Patch Updates

To ensure that customers benefit from the most secure and efficient service, Jedox routinely releases software patches. These updates are carefully rolled out across all Jedox environments to maintain system stability and introduce enhancements.

Patch deployment

1. General deployment window

All Jedox instances will receive the patches within a maximum of three business days after their release date. This phased approach allows us to ensure compatibility and performance across different setups. No patches will be deployed between Friday night and Sunday night (midnight CE(S)T / UTC time zone).

2. Specific update window for customer environments

To minimize potential disruption to business operations, the test and development instances will be patched first. The production environments will be patched between 12:00 and 13:00 UTC after a two-business-day gap.

Integrating the patches

There are two options to integrate the new patches into your Jedox environment:

  • Automatic application: the patches are automatically applied during the scheduled maintenance.
  • Manual restart: to expedite the process and update before the next scheduled maintenance, you must manually restart the Jedox services to fully integrate the patch.
