The monthly exchange rates are maintained in Exchange Rates, which consists of the following dimensions:

• Version: Each version dimension has its own exchange rates, independent from other versions. The actual rates may or may not be identical to the rates stored in another version. Identical rates are usually provided through the import procedure or a manual input.
• Month
• Conversion Type, Currency, and Target Currency: For more details, see Daily Exchange Rates Cube.
• Exchange Rates_measure: Contains the numeric Exchange Rate measure, which is the stored exchange rate. The calculation is conditional upon the following criteria:
  • Rate of January and Conversion Type:Average if Version belongs to Calculation Schema P
  • Rate of previous month Conversion Type:Month End if Conversion Type equals Month Start
