Amounts attributable to a cost center (mainly costs, sometimes also revenue) are maintained in a Cost Center cube, which consists of the following dimensions:

    ElementDefinition
    Hierarchy consisting of cost centers. The hierarchy breaks down into the level used for planning and reporting of cost center amounts.
    All Cost CentersTotal of all cost types, broken down by an organizational hierarchy. Typical levels are legal entities, segments, divisions, regions, etc., The base level elements are the individual cost centers.
    All Functional AreasTotal of all cost types, broken down by the functional areas. More granular levels can include department, legal entity, etc., The base level elements are the individual cost centers.

    All Cost Types Total of all cost types.
  • Cost Center_measure:

    InputThe main element to store facts from import procedures or manual input. (numeric)
    AdjustmentElement to manually enter adjustments to the amount posted in financial accounting. Used only for actuals. (numeric)
    AdjustedTotal of Input and Adjustment. (consolidated element)
    CommentAdditional explanation of the planned amounts stored in Input or on the performance of actual figures and their adjustments. (string)
