Amounts attributable to a cost center (mainly costs, sometimes also revenue) are maintained in a Cost Center cube, which consists of the following dimensions:

  Element	Definition
  …	Hierarchy consisting of cost centers. The hierarchy breaks down into the level used for planning and reporting of cost center amounts.
  All Cost Centers	Total of all cost types, broken down by an organizational hierarchy. Typical levels are legal entities, segments, divisions, regions, etc., The base level elements are the individual cost centers.
  All Functional Areas	Total of all cost types, broken down by the functional areas. More granular levels can include department, legal entity, etc., The base level elements are the individual cost centers.

  Input	The main element to store facts from import procedures or manual input. (numeric)
  Adjustment	Element to manually enter adjustments to the amount posted in financial accounting. Used only for actuals. (numeric)
  Adjusted	Total of Input and Adjustment. (consolidated element)
  Comment	Additional explanation of the planned amounts stored in Input or on the performance of actual figures and their adjustments. (string)
