Power BI Integration
The integration of Jedox financial planning and forecasting with Microsoft's Power BI business planning leads to more efficient processes, shortened financial reporting cycles, and increased transparency and agility in enterprise performance management.
This collaborative planning and reporting allows you to:
-
Query, prepare, and visualize financial planning and analysis data in Power BI, uncover new insights, and share your analysis across the organization.
-
Create budgets and forecasts and get them approved.
-
Provide stakeholders with decision-support and create scenario models and continuous performance analysis against targets and latest forecasts.
First steps
A scalable, powerful approach for integrating Jedox data dynamically with Power BI is Jedox OData Hub, a cloud-based service that allows third-party systems to consume Jedox information on demand. Check for details on installation and licenses here.
You can also establish a connection through Azure and then load the data from Jedox into Power BI, where it can be used for analysis and visualization. You must have an active subscription to Office 365 with Power BI and a Power BI license from Jedox.
