Cube Data Entries

To initiate an audit for data entries in cubes, navigate to the Administration section. Choose the Audit option and ensure the "Type" is configured to Cube. Within the Settings, you can specify auditing for a single or multiple cubes, designate the audit period, and clear the audit log. After configuring your preferences, click on "Start audit" to activate the process.

You can also activate audit from the cubes settings in the Modeler.

Business rules

Audit of business rules is done next to / together with cube data entries. Therefore, to audit business rules, enable the audit in the cube. See Cube Data Entries section.

Database data entries

To initiate an audit for data entries in databases, navigate to the Administration section. Choose the Audit option and ensure the "Type" is configured to Database. Within the Settings, you can specify auditing for a single or multiple databases, designate the audit period, and clear the audit log. After configuring your preferences, click on "Start audit" to activate the process.

You can also activate audit from the database settings in the Modeler.

Dimension data entries

To initiate an audit for data entries in dimensions effortlessly, navigate to the Administration section. Choose the Audit option and ensure the "Type" is configured to Dimension. Within the Settings, you can specify auditing for a single or multiple dimensions, designate the audit period, and clear the audit log. After configuring your preferences, click on "Start audit" to activate the process.

You can also activate audit from the dimension settings in the Modeler.

Integrator data entries

To initiate an audit for data entries in Integrator, navigate to the Administration section. Choose the Audit option and ensure the "Type" is configured to Integrator. Within the Settings, you can specify auditing for a single or multiple Integrator projects, designate the audit period, and clear the audit log. After configuring your preferences, click on "Start audit" to activate the process.

Disabling audits and deleting audit logs

Audit logs are automatically deleted when the audit is disabled. Additionally, the UI allows clearing audit trails on demand without having to de- and re-activate audits manually.
