LDAP Connection


The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is an application protocol for querying and modifying directory services and runs over TCP/IP. Connection to an LDAP server allows data to be imported from directory services such as the Microsoft Active Directory service.

Main Settings


The host name (DNS name) or the IP address of the server on which the database is located.


The TCP/IP port number used by the database.

User Name:

User name for the connection to the database.


Password for the connection to the database.

Advanced Settings


The most prevalent character encodings are UTF-8 (default), ASCII, and latin1 (Windows standard).
