When building Web spreadsheets, small changes like using PALO.DATAC instead of PALO.DATA can make a big impact on the performance of the report. Jedox Spreadsheet Advisor can help you identify potential performance related issues and it also provides guidance on how to solve those issues.
Once you run the Spreadsheet Advisor, Jedox checks the entire spreadsheet and provides you with an overview of any performance-related issues. The Spreadsheet Advisor dialog provides you with the information about the sheet name, the number of issues, the severity of the impact, the location, and the execution time.
It is also possible to manually change the parameters of the Spreadsheet Advisor’s checks.
Note that when the Spreadsheet Advisor finds an issue, it does not always mean that there is a problem and something needs to be corrected. The Spreadsheet Advisor also provides you with information about and guidance on where it makes sense to have a look.
