Dynatables Keyboard Shortcuts

Below you will find keyboard shortcuts in the different components of Dynatables.

If there is no next or previous component in the Jedox application, the next browser's element is focused on.

If an element is not expandable, the arrows on the right and left do not trigger any action.

The tree structure transforms into a flat list while searching dropdown elements via the input field.

  • The pressed arrow does not trigger any action if there is no cell above/below/left/right of the current cell.

  • If the cell is not expandable, Enter does not trigger any action.

If there is no Dynatable below, the Tab focuses on the next focusable element.

If there is no Dynatable above, the Tab focuses on the previous focusable element.

Select Element popup

Collapse and Expand nodes that have childre ← or →
  • If there is no node below the currently focused one, pressing the Down Arrow will focus on the first node in the list.

  • If there is no node above the currently focused one, pressing the Up Arrow will focus on the last node in the list.

  • For Select Element popups:

    • If the popup is in single-select mode, the previously selected node will be deselected when a new node is selected.

    • In multi-select mode, nodes can be toggled between selected and unselected states.

  • Range selection and Select All are only supported in multi-select popups.

  • The Tab and Shift + Tab shortcuts cannot be used to navigate to the next or previous node. Instead, they return focus to the previously focused node. To avoid unintended behavior, focus remains locked within the popup.
