Modeler Shortcuts

image_pdfimage_print

When working in the element grid in the Jedox Modeler, there are many keyboard shortcuts available. Most of the shortcuts depend on the context, i.e. the current selection in the elements grid. Note that the shortcuts below apply to “tree” view of the elements grid. In “flat” view, some of the shortcuts are not applicable.

General rules:

  • Enter or + keys add a new row to create a new element
  • F2 key opens the currently selected field for editing
  • Esc stops editing of a current field and reverts the changes
  • Arrow keys ←↑↓→ move the selection focus
  • Home key selects the current row
  • Ctrl + F opens the search input field
