Salesforce uses the proprietary query language SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) for data retrieval. It has similarities to the SELECT commands of SQL (Structured Query Language) but it is not compatible to ANSI-SQL. The Salesforce extract generates the SOQL SELECT statement, combined with filtering statements. Additional options (e.g. ORDER BY) can be added to this SOQL statement in a generic way.

If no logical filter expression is defined, an AND filter is applied, i.e. 1 AND 2 AND … AND n.
An optional part of a SOQL query with additional options that are appended to the generated SOQL statement.
ORDER BY Firstname NULLS LAST
|Use caching||Memory, disk, or none (default). See Caching in Extracts for more information.|
